MR JOHN HODGINS

John Hodgins is Chief Executive Officer of Legal Aid Queensland and has held the position since 1990.

He holds the degrees of Arts and Law and has been admitted as a solicitor for 29 years. He has been employed as a legal aid lawyer since 1977.

John has been a member of the Family Law Council, a member of the Steering Committee reviewing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services and the Council of the Australian Institute of Judicial Administration.

John is the current Chair of National Legal which is the collegiate group of State and Territory Legal Aid Chief Executive Officers.
