Frederick Zemans is a Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School of York University and the founding director of Parkdale Community Legal Services and the Osgoode Hall Law School Intensive Program in Poverty. He has written extensively on legal services over the last several decades and recently co-authored with Patrick Monahan, From Crisis to Reform: A New Legal Aid Plan for Ontario. He is the founding chair of the Osgoode Hall Law School Roundtable on Legal Aid that meet semi-annually in Toronto and the past president of the Canadian Law & Society Association.
