Robyn is currently Manager Grants with the Legal Services Agency in Wellington, New Zealand. The Agency was formed on 1 February 2001 and Robyn has been in the role since that time. The Grants team has responsibility for the management and decision-making on approximately 75,000 applications for legal aid received by the Agency. This is managed through 11 offices across New Zealand. Before joining the Legal Services Agency, Robyn spent twelve years working in policy and operations in the Social Service sector in New Zealand. This involved two years managing IHC’s largest service area. IHC is New Zealand’s largest not for profit organisation, providing services and advocacy for people with intellectual disabilities. It has over 3000 staff and provides services for about 5500 clients. Prior to this Robyn spent five years as Director of Policy for Barnardos, another large not for profit organisation and five years as Quality Assurance Manager and Policy Adviser for the government agency delivering income support to New Zealanders.
